John E. Barnes Jr., O.D. joined his father’s practice in 1969, which has evolved into one of the most premier practices in Oklahoma. Dr. Barnes has since retired passing his legacy of Eye Care On Gore to Dr. Leong.

Dr. Leong provides glasses and contact lens examinations which include an assessment of computer related syndrome and vision therapy assessments. She also participates in the co-management of cataract and laser corrective surgery such as Lasik and PRK.
Practicing primary care optometry, she detects ocular diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.
Treating and managing common eye problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and lazy eyes, Dr. Leong believe in the preservation and optimization of vision in patients of all ages. She treats glaucoma as well as eye infections and allergic and dry eyes. She is also able to surgically remove foreign bodies of the eye, following up commonly with bandage contact lenses. Having lived as a child in Mexico City, Mexico, in addition to English, she also speaks Spanish. Dr. Leong is a member of the Noon Lions Club that contributes to many charities including providing glasses and eye exams to children both here and abroad.
Monique Wong Leong, O.D. is an optometric physician who joined Eye Care On Gore Blvd in 2009. Dr. Leong graduated from UCLA in 1992 and the Southern California College of Optometry in 1996. A resident of Lawton, Oklahoma since 2005, she has practiced in many states as a military spouse including Illinois, Hawaii, and Maryland. She is also licensed in Pennsylvania and California.
